First thing you need to know about this unit is that it does NOT have a fish finder installed on it like the title of the product says.

The best price I've found is at this link: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/KD33WI2Hwm and at amazon https://amzn.to/2Uv0AWJ

What you can do though is purchase a casting floating fishing finder like this one. The Ibobber pulse can be towed behind the boat and connects via wireless to your smart phone. https://amzn.to/2Vlw9H2

One of the mods I'm working on for this boat and I'll photos soon is the solar charging for the battery. I have having to buy more batteries in order to fish longer with this.

One of the reasons I want a longer fishing time with this is because I use the boat to troll with. You can get a downrigger attachment if you have one already and and tie it onto the back. Here's one for $8 with free shipping https://amzn.to/2DvJaDN

So what I do is take about 5-10 feet of line with a spoon or spinner lure on the end and insert it into the clip so the lure drags 5-10 feet behind the boat. Then I drive the boat all over the lake and watch for line to get pulled off the back. It's a fun break from casting. You can also drive the boat out into the water way across the lake and then pull the lure off from the back of the boat and reel it in slowly. Then once the lure reaches your side of the shore you can drive the boat back or have a friend drive it and take turns. But you don't need the downrigger clip if you're going to drive the boat out and then reel it back to you. You can just put the lure into one of the dumping buckets. Just keep your bail open and make sure the line is very free to go out. Once you're in a good spot just hit the dump button and reel back in.

Again this is why I want to mod it with solar and have much more time fishing. If enough comments get dropped here on this page I'll do a video of it.
